What Are Hydrophobic Products?

These are nonwoven materials used for barrier and protection purposes that do not allow liquid passage.

Backsheet
It is the outermost layer of the baby diaper. By covering the liquid-proof PE film layer, it provides a soft touch and ease of use.
Dusting Layer
It is the lower surface that wraps the core (pulp) layer and prevents it from dispersing. It is a hydrophobic nonwoven.
Cuff
Creates a barrier by preventing the liquid inside the diaper from leaking out.
Inner Nonwoven
The inner surface material used in the waist and belly section of pant-style diapers.
Outer Nonwoven
The outer surface material used in the waist and belly section of pant-style diapers.
Singlewrap
The outer packaging section of sanitary pads.
Side Panel
